The University of Strathclyde Sports Union, in partnership with the Students’ Association and Centre for Sport & Recreation were recognised with 5-star rating in the Healthy Body Healthy Mind programme at the recent 2017 Scottish Student Sport awards dinner at the Dalmahoy Hotel.
HBHM is a partnership initiative between NUS Scotland and SSS, funded by the Scottish Government to raise awareness on the link between sport, physical activity and mental wellbeing.
Over the past year we have delivered a variety of events, campaigns and promotional activities aimed at increasing student participation on campus. Behind the scenes we have also we’ve been busy training staff and students in Scottish Mental Health First Aid.
